My soccer...(20/1)

Soccer has since long time ago a kind of sports which I enjoy a lot. After I settled down in Paris, I have kept my pace with the exercise every Friday evening with a team of my friend...We are playing in Amateur League 2 in Paris, and it is good that there are chances to play on green fields (we have mainly artificial green pitches). The playing style here is very different from that in Hong Kong, and having joined the team for months, I did feel from time to time a bit difficult to harmonise on the ground. Indeed, putting the same case in Hong Kong, it's already difficult if you are asked to play in a team which most of the players have been practising for ages. I play mostly the position of left defender, and I do find that my fitness varies from match to match. This all depends on the schedule I would have during the week. There are quite some teams in the league who play physically & mechanically, and for me, a more crucial factor is indeed the weather! The freezing weather in winter evenings distracts my concentration in controlling my legs, and interestingly, the muscle does not always obey the central trunk. Taking reference to my teammates, I guess a more equipped sportswear set and accessories would be important to play in the breeze.
Lacking proper practice out of the match is a pity. This causes me a problem of self-confidence sometimes when I play in a match. When you do not have adequate communication with the teammates (the kind of communication channels from two side), you face the challenge of playing without sufficient support from the team to defense or attack. This is a kind of mental legacy, and usually because of this issue of adaptability, you would not be able to perform as if you could have had. Take an example of the match last Friday. We played the first match for the French Cup, and with an overall score of 1:1, we had the penalty kick. I was the eighth player to do the penalty kick, and in front of the big goal from the point of penalty, I just lost some of the psycho-stability which is indeed not something very demanding. I missed a score and this simply means a kick-out of my team from the tournament. Well, in this kind of worst scenario, I did not really know what I should say...oops!
Another part of my soccer in Paris is "the journey to soccer". I go with my bike to the stadium, and the journey shows me the different parts of landscape of Paris...being a historical metropolis, urban planning is the typical Detroit style, and so all of the pitches are unsurprisingly located at the peripheral area in Paris. Every time when I go for a match, I need to climb up the slope and 'highland' to reach the playground, and this is what I program for myself the 'warm up' session. I get an idea of the major routings to reach different exits of Paris though. The district in the outer Paris is as true as the reality, and you would find a demonstration of the differentiated social classes in Paris...
