Zero Airfare?...(5/11)

In a recent press conference, Michael O'Leary, the chief executive of Ryanair revealed his plan to offer zero air fare to passengers by generating revenue simply from its to-be-added gambling facilities on flights since 2007...As a breakthrough leader of budget airline business modeler, the air carrier has been one of the most successful low fare carriers. As per my experience to the standard of services offered and its dynamic strategies on pricing, Ryanair offers attractive travel packages to budget travellers while the ever-changing ticket price allows its maintenance of efficient cost-control so that the company can optimise the use of flights and flying related resources and the company generates sound revenue even though the airfare can be as low as 0,01 euro per ticket. Surely this is not something the traditional airlines have ever thought of. Its promotion programme is impressive as well. According to the online business development, gambling related service is a promising generator of revenue. The move of Ryanair can be a wise move. There are always cruises for entertainment and gambling, and so why can't we have the same for airplanes. A smart marketing package and a wise choice of flight routing would be the critical success factors to my impression. Would Ryanair think of long haul routing? Let's see how it would go...but in any case, a budget traveller or an ethical passenger would concern something more than what Michael O'Leary might have already thought of.
