Chateau Pichon-Longueville 1993...(3/11)

Invited by a French couple, I had a dinner at their family near the Chateau de Versailles after work today,...and it was a very nice meal except that after the piles of work and preparation for the upcoming projects, I was so dizzy after the nice food. Unexpectedly, I was honored to have a bottle of 1993 Chateau Pichon-Longueville opened and give a taste of the 12-year-old red wine. Though not being a good taster, I could still sense the pure taste of it. The wine castle is located between Saint-Julien and Saint-Lambert and it was famous with its name 'La Batisse' or 'La Bastide' in the past. Indeed the bottle was a special souvenir received by my friend, and well, after years, it became a memory of a gathering in this early November when the leaves start to get reddish pale...
