This is cool...a player serving for the same team outside his homeland for 10 years in his professional career!
--------------------------------------
Claus Lundekvam may be the captain of Southampton but he has made the startling admission that the side lack leaders, especially when the going gets tough.
'I don't let the captain's job change my game. I am honoured to be wearing the armband at Southampton even though this has to be the hardest time I have ever had here,' he said.
'But what has happened is playing on my mind a lot and I am having sleepless nights. I know we have got to stand up and be counted at Bolton and it will not be pretty.'

Southampton, farewell the Premier...
This is really disappointing a match result. It's never acceptable for the supporter to view the team gets ruined by the club management.

a bit too early to say farewell.
it's still mathematically possible to escape relegation.
let's see what happens today.
see!
this was really dramatic I must say!! So hope re-ignites now and the Sat match would be crucial crucial. Wish the team a good fight. And please, Arsenal, I need your helping hand tonight...
the coming weekend will be the decider!
well, unfortunately it really is farewell to the premiership.
Every farewell is sad...
As a supporter, who know how long it would need to wait for the team to come back to the Premiership...well it's more like a materialistic soccer economy now. Man U was just being bought by a tycoon, and soccer is no longer just a sport. If you are still aware of teams like Luton; Shed Wednesday; Leeds; QPR etc. These are all traditional teams that are playing in the lower division...the reality is that when you have no continuous financial support, a miracle can only stay a miracle dream. Southampton has a promising season for its U-18 team, but well, do you think these players will stay in the team to support their come-back to the League later? Good luck!!
