Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah...this was a great night with the music of LCD Soundsystem......they played at Elysee Monmartre, a cozy venue with more than 1,000 spectators. Their music is what I called 'rhythm music'. You would find the beat and rtythm in their songs the skeleton and this is why you could see the 3 out of the 5-man-band played on the drum just at the same time!! James Murphy, the frontman of the band, is a pleasant vocalist with a nice and riotic voice. So it is not difficult to imagine how the atmosphere would be at their concert. Definitely, 'daft punk is playing at my house' was the first climax of the night. Their baseline was just so vibrant that shaked everyone under the stage. 'too much love' and 'give it up' were nice tunes. The band finished the tune with the tribute of drumline of the Joy Division! 'Never as tired as when i'm waking up' was one of the best songs in the evening. It carried a smell of punk funk that was the vodka for the dancefloor. All in all, 'Yeah' became the anthem for LCD Soundsystem. Simply a word of 'yeah' could unbeliveably generate the great energy from the audience.

Je ne connaissais pas du tout les groupes electro en dehors des celebre Daft Punk. Pas du tout branchée electro avant ce concert, j'ai été convertie pas ce groupe de 5 personnages (1 fille et 4 gaillards) que compose LCD Soundsystem!!
La premiere partie du concert, elle aussi electro n'était pas mal du tout. Des rythme jazzy insoupçonnés....vraiment génial.
Enfin, lorsque le groupe arrive, la salle est bien chaude...et là, c'est l'extase totale. Jazz, rock avec de bonnes percus, deux bonnes guitares éléctriques, un clavier, du mixage....magifique. Le début, un peu timide, puis tout le monde se lache!!!Le chanteur a la voix un peu enrouée nous dit-il (moi g rien remarké)J'étais avec une amie et nous sommes sorties de là en nage d'avoir trop sautillé, dansé et crié sur ces rythmes endiablés.
Un groupe que je viens de découvrir et que je ne vais pas perdre de vue en tout cas.
