Cine-art house cinema...(30/11)

This is an end. The reason why I like the cinema is also the reason why the cinema is closed finally. It was a nicely located cinema visited by few audiences. The choice of film of the cinema was usually an attraction to film fans and audiences looking for a variety. It was a traditional style of cinema we used to have in Hong Kong...small cinema stalls with flat level of seats rowing one after another. The leather armchair in the cinema is something I miss a lot. Every time when we reacted to the scene in gesture, the armchair gave us a sensitive response in the form of sound wave. There was always reactive sound from the joints of the armchair. The angle of the seat was slightly slanted upward towards the screen and this offered quite an optimal perspective for the audiences, especially those lazy people who let their body twisted and adapted in freeform. It was the past now. Reading from newspaper, people in Hong Kong are seriously embraced with a stagnant gloomy bubble of nostalgia. Slogan-preferred labelists talk about 'marginalisation' of Hong Kong, and this catalysises collective searching of the root of Hongkongais from memory of the colony. People flooded to the Star Ferry tower, and people showed their presence in front of the last curtaining of the screen of time and light. We look a bit lost.
