Rush Keeper...(24/3)

To be a supporter, it becomes too disappointed to continue watching the game of Southampton at this stage...In any case, it appears that they will not get further drilled down into League 2...better think of a new start next season then!! After selling Niemi, the substituted Paul Smith get injured and what the team is considering is an old rule of FA law that is still valid: -

Rule 45, Paragraph 3C of the FA Official laws of the game of Association football states that "...if a team doesnt nominate a goalkeeper then they may apply the rule of RUSH KEEPER, this means that a goalkeeper need not be nominated, the player nearest the goaline is able to play as goalkeeper and catch the ball, however he must shout "Rush Keeper" before handling the ball if he wasnt the last player in his side to fulfill this role, handling the ball without the appropriate shout will result in a penalty kick being awarded..."

Gosh isn't that funny enough the phenomenon we played in childhood when there were not sufficient of players can be applied lively in modern professional soccer game!! Hardly can this imagine be a game having players shouting "Rush Rush Keeper". How would the game be entertaining, or humiliating...I do want to see their match vs Sheff Utd tomorrow.
