Jazzy Saint Germain des Pres...(12/1)

Still reading the 'Saint Germain des Pres' by Boris Vian, and would be able to get some thoughts after the reading. But surely what he wrote about Saint Germain des Pres is lively and chic...Tonight, I went to a jazz club on rue Saint Andres des Arts and like many other bars and pubs, the live performance has been set at the basement cave. This is often a nice venue with a cozy feeling of live music. Manouche plays every Friday at the place, and their jazz is quite skillful with good mood. A full band set with drum, piano, guitar and bass, trumpet and cello. The jamming was cool and I enjoyed having such kind of evening. It's always the moment I think about the magic of music. The dim lighting and casual environment provided a strong view of underground music which I like too. Apparently I need more time to explore the interesting underground of the district which Vian wrote about.
