As a friendly match, it was still not an exciting game. Both teams were playing cautiously and it's understandable that neither one would like to risk to lose the game. Apart from reviewing the four strikers of the French team, there were three things in the stadium that drew my attention tonight...
1. the new jersey of the French team - without being told that it would be the new jersey for the Blues in the 2006 world cup, I doubt a lot how many can realise the difference. What I can tell is French is classic, and they respect a lot their past.
2. the new filming camera - the stadium installed a 360 degree filming camera hanging in the middle of the pitch. In fact there are numerous wires holding the camera from the top cover of the stadium, and it's stunningly efficient to film every corner of the stadium with such installation. Watching the TV news just now, the replay of the match was much strengthened by the various use of filming perspective. Well, this is amazing.
3. the security team in yellow - like the other match, there were a circle of security guards in yellow sitting just between the pitch and the audience seats. I tried to stare at a few of them several times during the match. Indeed they were facing the audience for surveillance reason and they did not watch any at all the match (perhaps except a few moments from the big tv screen at the top of the stadium...). So what did they think in the 90 mins?
