Dean’s, the story of shortbread…(1/11)

I have visited the Dean’s shortbread outlet in Huntly during the stay in Scotland. In fact, shortbread exists since the 12th century and it has been a traditional Scottish snack that is served during festive occasions like a wedding banquet or a celebration party...This brand is locally originated in Huntly for shortbread bakery, whose story, as revealed on the official website, is a success story of the commercialisation of a DIY recipe invented by Helen Dean since 1975. Claiming as a deliciously ‘melt in the mouth’ shortbread, it develops its label as a quality-guaranteed house made shortbread. Trying a mouth of the biscuit would make you feel so full that the next thing you can think of would be a cup of nice coffee. Something funny is its advertisement clip and have a look on this and enjoy…http://www.deans.co.uk/assets/Deans1.mpg. As noted, the shortbread has its distribution channels in major retail stores including Tesco, Morrison and the Duty Free Shop in the Prestwick airport.
