There is a photography exhibition taking place at Jardin du Luxembourg organised by the Reporters Sans Frontieres (RSF) at present. Works of the selected reporters during the last 2 decades are displayed. Pictures are impactful, some time irritating, and you can see how people in some parts of the world are suffering for a chance of life...there have been moments for the wars in Eastern Europe in the 80's and 90's, the tragic moment in Iraq or Kosovo...and 2 reporters of le Liberation disappeared in Iraq just 2 weeks before I arrived at Paris in January. This is somewhat a chaotic world. The film "Let the Wind Blow" recalls me also the moment of the end of the world. It's a film about the Indian trying hard to find a life in Bombay, and one of their ways out the characters think is to get a permit to work in Dubai...somewhat nothing new, but the film ends by a nuclear war between India and Pakistan...a foul of the citizen at the end...this recent moments remind me again the cruelness, or pathetic ironic world in our times.
