Du vin de Bordeaux a Paris...(19/6)

A Sunday morning, a promenade along Bld Saint Germain in Paris, and there is a shop displaying wine of Bordeaux in years from 1928 to 2004... A distributor of wine in Paris! Viewing the torn wine label or the partially decomposed wine cock, it is hard to imagine how the wine producers could have imagined the life of a bottle of wine which has been lasting for over 80 years. Sometimes life can be a miracle, and we are having a path crossing each other with a fate to get it through, and just like the bottles of wine, each story of its own can be entertaining...I tried to look for wine of 1977, but how symbolically, all the 77 collection have been sold out, leaving behind those of 1975, 76, 78 and alike praying for the wine of 77. As advised, 1977 has not been too good a year of harvest, and well, for more about this Maison des Millesimes, visit their shop at 137 bld Saint Germain 75006 Paris or their not very updated website at www.jackswines.com.
