Watched a film from Hong Kong weeks ago...
Beyond Our Ken is a concept story originated from a Hong Kong director named Edmond Pang. He is one of the latest generation directors in the scene that produces surprises and sentiment of "film noir" in his work... This should be his latest production, a story about two girls loving the same man. As "expected", the storyline carries on with the development of the bizarre relationship of the two girls. The ending, though anticipated, is doing in a clear-cut and simplified manner. Quite a film we have in the boring scene now we possess in this Oriental Hollywood.
Read from newspaper that the release of "First Letter D" in Hong Kong is smashing the box office recently, and I look forward to seeing it and feel again the sense of Hong Kong production.
