I went with my friend to watch a theatre comedy tonight in the Quartier Saint Blaise at 20eme...The drama took place in a small stage in the Theatre des Quarts d'Heure. The venue accommodates approximately 40-50 audience and the cozy feeling suits more the kind of comedy play like this. The story was not very special and the use of stage and props are standard. As an amateur French drama show, I did not view much difference when compared to similar one produced in Hong Kong which I encountered before. The actors in the play performed quite upright, and heard from my friend, the group had spent quite some time working on the production. This was already the second replay of the show. What interest me more was the response of the audience and the dialogue and cliche written in the script. To me, it is still a nice experience to practise my listening skill and brace a touch to the French style of humour that I would like to learn for a smile.
